The Western media is still going everywhere, here and there, without having any clue. Did anybody intercept any kind of a letter or any kind of written statement or anything else? I’m asking: what is the clue that they have based their accusation on?
It is because I am preaching and calling for the freedom of the people back in Egypt and all over the Muslim world. I’m certain that I didn’t break the law in the United States.
Tourism is something Islam agrees on, approves, because it is an educational matter to see the monuments and the historical places. But the tourists must respect the traditions of Islam when they visit the Muslim countries. Tourism is not nightclubs and wine and so forth, corruption and contaminating our country with AIDS as the tourists do when they go there.
If the West is serious about human rights, freedom and democracy, the West should not fear Islam but rather love Islam, because Islam established the principles of freedom and democracy 1,400 years ago. So why is the West the enemy of Islam? Why has the West knocked down Islamic movements in Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt? The West is doing its best to destroy Muslims all over the world.
Israel is not the only difference between America and Islam. America interfered in Iraq and Somalia, and it doesn’t intervene between the Bosnians and the Serbians. Instead, America and the other Western countries are helping the Serbians with money and weapons. This contradiction doesn’t make any sense on any other basis than fanaticism against Islam.
The FBI has called hundreds of Muslims and asked them questions relating to me and my preaching in different mosques. They took some from work and some at 5 o’clock or 4 o’clock in the morning. Where is the freedom, then? All this is happening in America, and we never expected that from a country that is called the leader of the free world.
[Most] Islamic countries are ruled by tyrants and oppressors. I didn’t choose to stay in America. I have been to many countries, including Britain, Denmark and Switzerland. I go anywhere for the word of Allah. This is my ultimate duty, to preach for Islam. I invite you, yourself, to be a Muslim.
