While the “indefinite” suspension could mean any amount of games, McKay hinted on Twitter the ban may only be one.
McKay has averaged 12.4 points and nine rebounds for the No. 13 Cyclones (16-6, 5-4 Big 12). He’s blocked 37 shots and is the reigning Big 12 Conference defensive player of the year.
Deonte Burton will replace him in Saturday’s starting lineup.
