Is JuJu Smith-Schuster playing Monday night Week 5?
UPDATE: NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Monday afternoon that Smith-Schuster is expected to play against Las Vegas.
UPDATE 2: Smith-Schuster is officially ACTIVE.
Smith-Schuster (quad, hamstring) was a bit of a surprise “questionable” after getting in two full practices followed by a limited session on Saturday. Coach Andy Reid said Saturday that he thinks Smith-Schuster “will be fine.”

JuJu has seen eight targets in three of four games this season, catching 19 passes for 224 yards. He’s yet to score, but clearly, he has a decent floor in PPR leagues. Against the Raiders, who entered Week 5 allowing the 11th-most fantasy points to WRs, Smith-Schuster is in a good spot to produce WR3 numbers.

If you waited for Smith-Schuster, he should be in there in this favorable matchup, but it still doesn’t hurt to grab a potential pivot like Mack Hollins, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman, or even Skyy Moore, who would see a lot more snaps if Smith-Schuster is out. Any of those wide receivers have similar ceilings in what should be a high-scoring game. Their respective floors are all lower, especially in PPR leagues, but one big play is all it takes for them to pay off.
