Fans of Station 19 may be disappointed to learn that they won’t be able to watch the show tonight, November 17.
The show is taking a midseason break, which is the norm in the lead-up to the festive period, and fans will have to wait to see what comes next for the firefighters at Seattle Fire Station 19.
Station 19’s Season 6 midseason finale saw the show have a crossover with its parent show, Grey’s Anatomy, and the two-part episode aired on November 10.
Starting with Station 19’s “Everybody Says Don’t,” the crossover followed the men and women of the fire station as they tried to deal with a terrifying thunder storm. In Grey’s Anatomy Season 19’s midseason finale the event culminated in Dr. Meredith Grey’s (Ellen Pompeo) house being burned down.
According to TVLine, the show saw a rise in viewership for its sixth season finale, with the crossover episode drawing in 4 million viewers. The publication claimed this is the show’s second-highest rating of the season.
When Will ‘Station 19’ Season 6 Return to ABC?
Viewers will have to wait for just over two months to see what Season 6 has in store for the characters of Station 19. It will return on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
On November 7, ABC announced its midseason schedule, which confirmed the premiere dates of several of its mainstay programs, including Station 19.
The show will return at its usual timeslot of 8 p.m. ET with a winter premiere event that will be followed straight after by Grey’s Anatomy’s return to screens.
ABC’s Thursday schedule will be completed by the newest episode of Alaska Daily, which stars Hilary Swank and Grace Dove as investigative reporters looking into the countless disappearances and murders of indigenous women that have gone ignored for years in the state.
In the meantime, Thursdays on ABC will see game shows like Celebrity Jeopardy!, The Chase and new program The Parent Test air in place of the aforementioned dramas.
Station 19 Season 6 returns to ABC on Thursday, February 23, at 8 p.m. ET.
