Is the XFL done?
ESPN reports, “While a handful of executives remain employed, the league currently has no plans to return in 2021.”

Despite the gloomy quote from the former staffer, it appears as if the 2021 plans were not discussed directly in Pollack’s call. Fulk reports he listened to the entire conference call to XFL employees and 2021 was “never mentioned.” The phrase used was “suspending all day to day operations.”

What about the XFL players?
Players were not invited on the conference call Friday morning as kicker Matthew McCrane noted.
“No conference call or any information provided to the players,” McCrane said.

The XFL has not released any official statement on the matter.
