ATK and Pune City haven’t had the best starts this season. Teddy Sheringham’s side could only pick a point against Kerala while Pune were left reeling on home soil. Can ATK snatch a victory or will it be Pune who will finally prosper this season after some dour performances over the course of last three years?

GAME PREVIEW

Though ATK passing was on the mark against the Blasters, with Conor Thomas and Eugeneson Lyngdoh pulling the strings in the midfield, the two-time champions weren’t able to bag a win in a game they dominated.

Sheringham was admittedly impressed by Finnish striker Njazi Kuqi, who was slotted in place of Robbie Keane while affording an opportunity to Robin Singh as well. Hitesh Sharma will also be one to watch out for after a telling performance in ATK’s last outing.

FC Pune City noticeably have a host of experienced foreigners in their ranks in Jonatan Lucca, Emiliano Alfaro, Marcos Tebar and Marcelinho - two of whom (Alfaro and Tebar) scored in the 3-2 loss in Pune. However, despite scoring twice, they lacked imagination going forward as the second goal was only scored just before the full time whistle.

Will ATK fire in front of their home fans or will the away team go home happy after Sunday’s result?
