A tweet Monday night alerted the Texans defensive end to Fulmer’s story, and Watt responded, saying, “Tell him I’ll bring him a new jersey tomorrow.”

On Tuesday, Watt did just that while paying a visit to Noah following surgery, hand-delivering multiple No. 99 jerseys to the Fulmer family.
Noah was one of three pedestrians hospitalized in the incident, which occurred in Matagorda Beach, Texas.
Favorable updates on his condition followed on social media Tuesday afternoon.

Watt himself has become familiar with the hospital scene this season. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year played in just three games in 2016 before a second back surgery in two months ended his season in September. His Texans host the Raiders in an AFC wild-card playoff game Saturday.
