MORE: Sporting News’ Top 25 prospects for 2014 Lyle is listed as both a point guard and shooting guard on various recruiting sites, which also makes one wonder where he may best fit in college. When asked which position he prefers, Lyle said he has no preference. “It just comes down to whatever (a) coach needs me to do,” Lyle said. “I can do 1, 2 or 3.” Alexander has an official visit set to Memphis on Oct. 18, and there was thought that Lyle would join him. However, Lyle said while it’s a possibility, nothing has been set, and he’d need to have a day off of practice to get down there. But if Huntington Prep needs him at practice, that’s where he’ll be. In fact, he has no official visits set up. Lyle said Connecticut, Oregon, Indiana and Baylor are other schools that are still talking to him, and that his recruiting is wide open. “I’m just taking my time, focusing on school, hitting the books hard and focusing on our team being successful,” Lyle said.
