The same report claims the Cardinals made a late push to sign him, but ultimately JPP decided to stay in New York. NFL Media reports he turned down more money elsewhere but didn’t specify whether Arizona was the other team.

Pierre-Paul is a two-time Pro Bowler and a difference maker on defense. He missed time last season after an incident with fireworks that left his right hand in bad shape. He had his right index finger amputated among other serious surgeries.

Despite the injury, Pierre-Paul was able to come back and start the final eight games for New York. He had 26 tackles, one sack and six pass deflections.
