Jeremy Lin had an intriguing take Friday night after watching Kobe Bryant miss a potential game-winning shot against the Kevin Durant-less Thunder:

“I like game-winners, too. I would like to shoot some. But I get it,” Lin told reporters.

Lin, in fact, has hit at least one game-winner.

But, no, Lin shouldn’t expect Kobe to defer. Not when his coach is saying this:

Still, Lin is ready to be the guy at the end.

Yeah, but . . . Kobe.

Bryant was asked an unrelated question during his postgame media session about Lin’s transition to coming off the bench.

If Kobe decides one night to say, “OK, Jeremy, show me what you’ve got,” Lin best not miss.
