Shackled, clad in an orange jumpsuit and carrying folders of papers, Sandusky was escorted into the court house by three policemen ahead of the scheduled 11 a.m. ET hearing.

“There’s much to say. And now it’s going to be said by Al Lindsay,” Sandusky said, referring to one of his current attorneys. “Read what has been written.”
Sandusky, 72, has filed a petition under Pennsylvania’s Post Conviction Relief Act, and his attorneys argued that he deserves a new trial based on several factors, including leaks by the grand jury and ineffective representation of Sandusky by his original attorneys, Joseph Amendola and Karl Rominger.
McKean County Senior Judge John Cleland was to hear arguments from prosecutors and Sandusky’s attorneys over the defense’s request for an evidentiary hearing for Sandusky.
Sandusky’s convictions stem from assaults that spanned several years on boys he met through his now-defunct charity for at-risk youth, The Second Mile.
He is currently serving 30-60 years in state prison.
