Rumors continue to circulate about a possible biography. Despite reports that she doesn’t remember anything about the incident, friends and family say Lynch’s memory is good. Names that have been raised as possible authors include Pulitzer Prize winner Rick Bragg, who resigned earlier this spring from The New York Times in the aftermath of the Jayson Blair scandal. But as long as Lynch remains a soldier, finalizing a book deal will have to wait.
