It is unknown what the costs are to refurbish the existing venues. It’s hard to predict the expenses accurately when the event is almost a decade away. Almost all recent Olympics have gone over their projected cost in hosting the event, according to a University of Oxford study....

Camacho-Quinn won the semi-final race with a time of 12.26 seconds, beating the previous record of 12.35 set by Australia’s Sally Pearson when she won gold at the 2012 London Games. Also through from Camacho-Quinn’s semi-final are Jamaica’s Megan Tapper, who came second with a time of 12.62 second, and the Netherlands’ Nadine Visser who posted a time of 12.63 seconds. Camacho-Quinn is one of the favorites to win the final on Monday....

Danny Sheehan from Marshfield, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday following a brave four-year battle against pineoblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. AQUAMAAAAAAAAAAN!!!’” he could be heard exclaiming on the clip. The Giants defensive end spent his Wednesday at the New York Presbyterian Hospital burn unit visiting burn survivors and presenting the wing with a $20,000 check. “As I was sitting in the hospital on July 5, there were a lot of burn (victims) in there. And I was one of them,” Pierre-Paul said, via NJ.com. “And just walking through the hospital, I saw a lot of burn people. People that lost hands, people that lost legs, due to fireworks incidents or whatever....

Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) announced today that they will not be renewing the contracts of Argentine duo, Guerra and Cabrera. Guerra was brought in during the pre-season before the start of the 2017 campaign but was initially assigned to Johor Darul Ta’zim II (JDTII). However, the poor form of Geronimo Barrales saw the two swap places and Guerra was moved to the Super League side. Played predominantly on the wide berths, either on the left or the right, Guerra started out very brightly - becoming the shining beacon of attacking prowess for JDT as opponents struggled to keep a lid on his unorthodox dribbling skills....
