The Titans ended a nine-year playoff drought by grinding out a 15-10 win over the division rival Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon at Nissan Stadium. Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota stepped up big as offense was hard to come by for both sides. Mariota led the game in both passing and rushing. He went 12 for 21 with 134 yards passing, and added 60 yards rushing in 10 attempts. The Titans’ running game stalled, as Derrick Henry managed only 51 yards in 28 carries....

Just one week after conceding his hard-fought battle to unseat Republican South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, Harrison told The Washington Post that he would “definitely” consider chairing the national committee if the opportunity to do so presented itself. “If that’s something that they are interested in me doing, I’ll definitely take a good look,” Harrison told the paper. According to a release from his office, the U.S. representative was found to have diffuse large B-cell lymphoma after “several days of tests.” Raskin, who recently turned 60, also said it’s “a serious but curable form of cancer.” The announcement comes just days before a difficult anniversary for Raskin and his family.
