One snap, shared to the account @Thereisnocat_, amassed 10,000 likes since being shared in January, as people pored over the image trying to find the feline. The photo shows an angle of a bedroom, with a window, wardrobes in the background, piles of laundry, a bin and folded clothes piled up. The main character was later revealed to be a 19-year-old cat named Sooty, as her owner, Peter Law, told Newsweek: “We have had her since 2003 when she was a kitten....

TikToker @kenzjee posted the video on January 15 which now has over four million views. In the video, she and another employee show how they purchase the tights that are worn under their uniforms from a machine in the bathroom. Commenters on the video were confused as to why if they’re part of the uniform, employees would be expected to purchase them. @Kenzjee responded to one of the comments explaining that Hooters has to sell the tights “through a third party company because tights are considered ‘under garments’ so they can’t provide them....

For many women, infertility can add pressure and strain on themselves and their relationships. According to the CDC, women who have been trying to conceive for a year and were unsuccessful are considered infertile. Infertility affects about six percent of married women between the ages of 15 to 44, the CDC estimates....

The mom explained in a post to popular forum Mumsnet, that her son is aged 14 and her step-son is 15. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a condo in the 1600 block of Huntington Park, Rochester Hills. Responding to a welfare check, first responders said the body of a 44-year-old man was found deceased at the scene. In a report released on Tuesday, the DOJ found serious failures at Glenwood Resource Center—a residential facility for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) operated by Iowa’s Department of Human Services (DHS). These included conducting experiments without consent, poor healthcare, unnecessary physical restraints and inadequate protections from harm. The report said: “Iowa has been deliberately indifferent to those breakdowns and the risks they pose. Glenwood frequently leaves residents at serious risk of harm or death by ignoring changes in condition outright, or by adopting a clinically unjustified ‘wait and see’ approach....

The mask mandate comes eight months after Iowa recorded its first infection. On March 8, the state reported its first three “presumptive” positive cases of the virus. Meriah Carlyle, 21, was shot by her 2-year-old son with an unsecured handgun in Dyersville on November 4. Officers responded to a call from the home at 406 4th Avenue NE around 6:15 p.m, Dyersville police said. Investigators allege that both parents were in the room with the child when the 2-year-old found the gun, but didn’t notice the boy had picked up the weapon until it fired, according to an affidavit cited by the Associated Press....
